Abstract: The field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2023 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design with ten treatments which have replicated thrice. The treatment details are as follows T1: Phosphorus 40 kg/ha + Nano Urea 1 ml/l, T2: Phosphorus 40 kg/ha + Nano Urea 3 ml/l, T3: Phosphorus 40 kg/ha + Nano Urea 4 ml/l, T4: Phosphorus 60 kg/ha + Nano Urea 1 ml/l, T5: Phosphorus 60 kg/ha + Nano Urea 3 ml/l, T6: Phosphorus 60 kg/ha + Nano Urea 4 ml/l, T7: Phosphorus 80 kg/ha + Nano Urea 1 ml/l, T8: Phosphorus 80 kg/ha + Nano Urea 3 ml/l, T9: Phosphorus 80 kg/ha + Nano Urea 4 ml/l, and Control Plot. The results of the experiment revealed that the Application of Phosphorus at 60 kg/ha along with Nano Urea 4 ml/l (Treatment 8) recorded significantly higher plant height (205.04 cm), maximum plant dry weight (310.00 g/plant), maximum crop growth rate (39.13 g/m2/day) maximum rows per cob (12.93), grains per row (22.67), seed index (22.70 g), grain yield (5.54 t/ha), Stover yield (8.29 t/ha), harvest index (35.86%). The same treatment also recorded maximum gross return (INR. 110016.60 /ha), net return (INR. 66936.60 /ha) and benefit cost ratio (1.55).
