Abstract: A field experiment was conducted during kharif seasons of 2020-21and 2021-22 on clayey soil at Mansarover Global University, Sehore (Madhya Pradesh) to study the effect of different levels of N and foliar spray of zinc on nutrient uptake by crop and available nutrient in soil. Results revealed that significantly highest nutrient uptake by crop and available nutrient status of nitrogen, phosphorus, Potash and zinc in soil after harvest of crop was recorded with the application of Nitrogen-150 kg/ha + 1.5% foliar spray of ZnSO4 followed by application of nitrogen-150 kg/ha + 1.0% foliar spray of ZnSO4, nitrogen-150 kg/ha + 0.5% foliar spray of ZnSO4, nitrogen-120 kg/ha + 1.5% foliar spray of ZnSO4, nitrogen-120 kg/ha + 1.0% foliar spray of ZnSO4. The lower nutrient uptake by crop and available status of nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and zinc in soil after harvest of crop was recorded with the application of nitrogen-00 kg/ha + 0.0% foliar spray of ZnSO4 (control) under Sehore region.
